Altar of St. Joseph
On the next altar there is a triptych by Árpád Feszty with St. Joseph teaching the
child Jesus, and the figures of the Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul. St. Peter holds
the key to the gates of heaven, while the Apostle Paul holds a sword
representing his martyrdom. The glass window shows St. Andrew and his cross.
Legend has it that St. Andrew was crucified on a diagonal cross, at his own
request, because he said he was not worthy to be crucified on a cross in the same
shape as Christ's.
